Mission Statement:
itc contributes towards crating an environment where
people of diverse cultural values and language background can experience
understanding and cooperation among themselves and developing management
efficiency.
Itc is a non-government private institute. It was
established in December 1992. A brief history of its institutional
development is as follows:

1992:
established as
a language institute called “Intercultural Training Center (I.T.C)” with
the objective of providing Nepali language and cross-cultural training
to those foreign nationals who come to Nepal to work, study and visit.

1994: recognized as
an educational institute with limited liability company status. The
objective of the institute was broadened and its responsibilities
increased.
The objectives of itc are as
follows:
- Organize in-country orientation including Nepali
language training, cultural orientation, Nepal orientation, intercultural
sensitization program and home-stay programme for intercultural
understanding.
- Conduct research and management development.
- Organize “College Semester Abroad” program for
students from different countries.
- Organize training programs for Nepali nationals as
community development workers, language and cross-cultural trainers and
organize management development training programs & consultancies.
